MOHNTON PROFESSIONAL CAR CLUB
MISSION STATEMENT AND BYLAWS
The Mohnton Professional Car Club, aka MPCC, is established to bring people together sharing the same interests of funeral cars, car-based ambulances and limousines, though some van and truck-based ones may be considered; to share information, assist each other, and to attend and plan events together revolving around our cars.
1- MPCC will be known as a Social Club.
Notification, newsletters and such will be distributed by the internet and telephone so there is no need to charge dues at this time.
Any member wishing to receive a printed copy of newsletters and minutes mailed to their home can request it and pay the postage to the secretary in advance at the current rate for a first class letter.
2- Owners and their associate member will each be considered full voting members.
Any full member who becomes “coachless” will have one year from the sell date to secure another coach or they will revert to being a speculative member. This clause will apply to their associate member in like manner.
3- Meetings will be held the last weekend (Sunday) of the month at 2:00 PM (formerly 3:00 PM), subject to change with notification because of holidays and unusual circumstances, or for some cases be held at event near the end of the month if need be. Each member family in turn will choose a family oriented place for the meeting and make a suitable reservation for the expected number of members. This will help equalize the amount of travel for all the members as well as introduce us to new places in keeping with our mission statement. Meetings must be decided by the month before's meeting so info can be in the minutes.
4- If and when needed, elections for any new club officers will be held at the November meeting. If choosing to run for any position or if wanting to nominate someone, it must be known to the whole no later then our show date of that year. That member then should be letting everyone know why they are better for that position. There are no limits on how long a member can serve in their position, unless they become coachless (see above in #2). must be present to vote, should be present if you are running, but not mandatory.
